CNC system branch convenes group standard start meeting

Recently, according to the relevant regulations of the China Machine Tool Industry Association on the revision of group standards and the working arrangement of the NC System Branch of the Machine Tool Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as "NC System Branch"), a group standard initiation meeting of "NC Machine Tool Shop Bus Agreement for Intelligent Factory" was held in Kunming. Nearly 30 representatives from Wuhan Huazhong CNC Co., Ltd., Guangzhou CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Weihong Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
This meeting around the "Intelligent Factory NC Machine Tool Shop Bus Agreement" to carry out the discussion of seven draft group standards. The standard technical documents which were formulated by the China Machine Tool Industry Association and approved for publication are complementary to the current national standards and industry standards. Its formulation and implementation shall be subject to the guidance and supervision of the competent department of national standardization. According to the requirements of the General Association of Machine Tool Associations, the NC Systems Branch will undertake the management and organization of the related group targets, and work closely with the National NC Systems Standardization Technical Committee under the guidance of the NC Systems Standardization Committee.
Jin Jian, Secretary-General of the National Committee for Standardization of CNC Machine Tool Systems, introduced: The purpose of this meeting is to focus on the task of "Standardization and Test Verification of Interconnection Communication Protocol for CNC Machine Tools" of the 2016 Intelligent Manufacturing Project undertaken by the relevant units of Central China CNC. In order to verify and apply the standard formed by the project as soon as possible, and the time from the establishment to implementation of the group standard is faster than that of the national standard, the project team decided to start the application of seven group standards synchronously according to the suggestion of the China Machine Tool Industry Association.
After careful discussion and collective consultation, the important resolutions of this meeting are as follows: revising the name of the group bid, tentatively named as "NC equipment industry interconnection communication agreement"; for the seven groups, the leading units and participating units were identified, and the next work plan and time nodes of the group bid and the national standard were defined; During the CMT 2018 exhibition, organize the National Standards Expert Review Meeting and Group Standards Working Meeting of the 2016 Intelligent Manufacturing Project Team.
